EtherNexus is researching innovative solutions and concepts to promote sustainable virtual communities across multiple virtual worlds. The scope of this activity derives requirements from research in science, technology and artistic design practice to define new technologies and services that advance the capabilities of virtual worlds. Our vision is to empower individuals with a unique trans-ludic identity across multiple worlds which in turn promotes the evolution of virtual worlds as an extension of real-world communities.
